Georgia football coach Kirby Smart and his staff will be able to provide online football instruction starting Monday as a result of the SEC modifying its spring policy

To have a college football season this year, if we have one we may have to be flexible with the schedule and get away from the norm. Things may have to be sacrificed to play at all. Maybe a conference only schedule? Starting the season later than normal? Having the season run longer than normal? I never have been a big fan of the empty stretch from the end of the season until the bowl games start. A later season would take up that empty spot. You could go directly into the bowl games.
There’s a gap of play because students are taking their finals and school is out for the holidays. I really doubt this will change any if we move the schedule down.
Chalk Talks include Carson Beck...he enrolled early as a true freshman...good news! Todd Monken can work with this fine young QB. I am tired of speculating on when and if the season will commence. Too many variables. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey will let us know.
