Not much more can be said. We wait and follow protocols. Very tough on these eager young athletes longing to ply their skills on the field. Coach Smart is preparing for that future opening day and the precautions UGA will take to ensure the safety of the team and staff. Also, playing a football game gets intimate...players piling on players, tackling, etc. The virus must be eradicated before that happens. IMO. Stay safe!

That's right, Brian Kelley, Kirk Herbstreit is a college football analyst. And he's been doing it for a long time so he has a right to give his opinion about it. I'm pretty sure the Herbstreit would MUCH RATHER be anchoring College GameDay and calling live games than sitting around giving his opinion. You don't have to accept his opinion, or believe it. But he has the right to say it, based on whatever information that HE may be privy to. Two months ago, few people expected that every sport in the world would be on hiatus right now. Folks figured the Olympics would be safe. Wimbledon would be played. But that's not going to happen. Things change. And in two months, things will change again. Maybe that means there's a 2020 college football season, maybe it's a limited season, or maybe they don't play at all. We'll see. But Herbie's opinion is as valid as anyone else's right now. Go Dawgs!
