All NCAA is in this together with the same conditions confronting them. Newman is a quick study...flexible...adaptive...experienced. He should be the QB if and when this season opens. IMO. It is difficult in itself to juxtaposition no spring practices with a smooth game transition. Monken is on this I am sure. Chalk talks help. The returnees will adapt more readily. Pickens will have to sync somehow with Newman (my pick) as he will be the initial go-to receiver....and maybe Blaylock. The DL will be fine. The OL has some new faces to assimilate. RBs are strong...plenty of depth. I did not name more names because that is Smart and company's job. I'm still waiting for the: "ALL CLEAR!"
