Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

You’re probably reading this at home. That’s an easy guess at the moment because just about everyone’s at home all the time these days. You don’t need me to tell you why. It’s an unprecedented event. We’re caring for each other by staying away from each other. It’s undoubtedly a noble cause, but its nobility doesn’t

We are all desperately longing for the day when we can go back to the old normal. However the reality is according to all of the scientific/medical community there simply will not be a vaccine available until at least April 2021. I can unfortunately see a scenario in the 2020 Football season where a player from a couple of power five teams come down with the virus. What then? Quarantine those teams and the teams they have recently played for two weeks? That would pretty much be the death nail for the 2020 College Football season. God forbid this should happen, but I think unless the curve is not flattened very very soon then 2020 Football season will go the way of the NBA, MLB, Wimbledon and others. Sad!
Keep dreaming, Brandon. No way students are coming back on campuses in the fall, and no way NCAA can have that look of making players play when it’s been deemed too risky for their fellow students. No one is going risk their safety just to entertain us.
We'll have more things to worry about if this isn't handled by july
This reads like an extension to the senseless backlash to Herbstreit's rational assessment that the 2020 season seems unlikely to occur. Let it go, BA. What will be will be.
