Sam Pittman admits there might be some similarities in the Arkansas program he’s rebuilding to what people see on the field at Georgia, especially up front. “I think it’s a big man’s league,” Pittman said on Birmingham’s WJOX radio last week. “I think you build your football team with offensive and defensive linemen,

Coach Pittman is a man that is as genuine as they come. He may not be a Dawg anymore but I still will pull for him except when we play them. I hope he wins a lot of games at Arkansas and has a long career there. We got a good man to replace him. Coach Luke is doing a great job. He is recruiting at a level that will keep our offensive line among the top in the country. He is one intense individual. I sure hope we can get this season going. I was looking forward to a fired up football team with the most talent we have ever had. Please let us play football this year!

Echoing your sentiments on Coach Pittman, Huckleberry. He was able to take a historically weak element of our football team and turn it into a strength after one recruiting class. It's also nice to hear him acknowledge Kirby with some flattering comments on the way out. Conversely, I never understood all of Muschamp's trash-talking his alma mater. I don't believe it served him well in the long run. Looking forward to the fall and football. Go Dawgs!

Well Huckleberry, we do have a fine football line-up but there was one team with Herschel Walker, when they took the natty, UGA will still have some work to do to beat. LOLOL. But that was then. I think the recruiting system is much more complicated today with the advent of the early NFL draft option. Also, lots of technology in the fitness and weight rooms...better practicing conditions. I do not like the CFP playoffs regimen now...save this for another day. I don't like split conferences either. I am old school. However, I do honestly believe UGA has the player talent and staff to get it done this time!!! Thinking out loud. GO DAWGS!!!
