Helmets off to Coach Smart for providing UGA fan excitement on Virtual G-Day! Yes, we would rather have a literal G-Day to see the potential that has been hyped to heaven for this 2020 UGA ensemble. We can dream only so far, but some things seem to be loosening on the virus front, so let's hope for the best........! GO DAWGS!!!

Got to give mega credit to Kirby Smart and UGA for finding a very creative way to give the program a positive boost under such limited conditions.

Even the Covid-19 can't stop Kirby Smart form being the best and most effective recruiter in CFB. Nobody does it better...

I agree with you @SportsDashBoard that Cager was a fantastic player who, if he had been healthy all year, might have taken the Dawgs to even higher heights. I do wish him well in the NFL.

And I disagree with Connor that the game itself was a loser. It was a GREAT game. Yes, our offense didn't play well and that turned out to be a recurring theme throughout the season. But two caveats to that: First it was early in the season and no one really knew our offense wouldn't be high-powered. And second, Notre Dame's defense was no slouch. Those guys were bringing that night, they just got tired in the fourth quarter and we were able to grind on them a little bit. But they were tough.

And a third possible consideration, one that was somewhat overlooked, is that had it not been for Tyler Simmons' unforced muff of a punt, Notre Dame would have never had the chance to win the game at the end. As it was, even after the muff, it took the Irish converting a fourth and goal on a broken play, one-handed catch just to get that. In other words, a lot had to go perfectly for them just to be in POSITION to win the game. And even then -- they still lost! Go Dawgs!
