Most who follow Georgia football have not heard of Sage Surratt. But to new quarterback Jamie Newman, there were few players as important as Surratt in his time at Wake Forest. This will no longer be Fromm to Cager.....it will likely be Newman to Pickens....much like he was with his go-to buddy Surratt at WF. Let's hope Pickens stays healthy. There is always that one receiver QB's favor....when they are injured, things can go south in a hurry. I see the new cadre of signees as ones who can fill the gap if need be. My guy is Rosemy...field-ready! But cannot get ahead of ourselves....we have to have a season first. What can I say?

Would you just leave out the part about Pickens being ejected from the GA VS Tech game, unless you also include where he was assaulted first by the Tech player. I get it, to you sportswriters he is branded and can never clear his name. I watched this game, Pickens was struck in the throat first before he struck back. Yes,he was missed in the first part of the SEC game, but 11 Pickens would not have kept GA from losing to LSU that day. Remember, we also didn't have Swift at 100%. This is 2020, let's hope there is a season to be played and GO DAWGS!
