It would likely be a big PPV seller
and would be as big a robbery as the Tyson-McNeely fight
Mike Tyson is still a scary human being, but mike Tyson is his prime was something beyond fearful
Sad that he likely has to do this out of a need for money. I’m guessing he still looks fast because he is about 30 seconds in to his workout. He probably slows substantially after a few minutes and getting hit in the gut a couple of times. He’s just not going to be George Foreman.
Fury vs. Tyson would break all-time PPV records...
So I can't say it's impossible. I would watch, but what would be the percentage breakdown of the following:
A. Would watch to see a great fight
B. Would watch like I was watching a car wreck in slow motion.
Not sure, but I think for many of us Option B would be the motivation...
I would absolutely love to see it, but I will file this in my "Things I want to see but know won't happen" file along with the Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin Joint Reunion Tour.
With all that data, boxing itself shouldn't happen...
What is the seat purse vs the tv purse in a big boxing match? The public is so starved for sports that I seriously believe a barely attended championship match would draw a big PPV number right bow.
you'll get the test this weekend when UFC has their card in Jacksonville, FL. 155lb main event for a fake title should be a barnburner nonetheless.
Mike would probably run out of steam after round two but for those first few minutes you better look out
Not buy
Marvis Frazier would like to remind you that Mike only needs 30 seconds.
