It's time to open it back up! Use common sense precautions, but whatever it takes - open it all back up.

Looks like all college teams will have to convert to the "spread offense". But I am not clear what the defenses will do to maintain social distancing. Look for high scoring games!

I wish they'd stop dancing around. Everyone in the world knows that college football players will return to campus soon, they're going to play a full regular season in the fall and they're going to play in front of fans (although I can foresee a scenario where maybe not ALL seats are sold). But they're going to play because they'll lose too much money if they don't. The administrators will try to make the return be about the "passion" of the players and the fans for games, how sports can help "heal" the country, and how they've taken ALL the right health and safety precautions and other extraneous b.s. But the bottom of all lines is THE BOTTOM LINE, and that is major college football just makes too much money for too many people to not play. So they will play and some players and coaches will get sick; one or two may even die. But that will be quickly explained away as a "tragedy" that could have happened even under the best of circumstances. But deep down, college presidents, AD's and coaches are really thinking, these are sacrifices we have to make for the good of our sport. Yes, they're sad. Yes, they'd much prefer not to have to do it this way. But at this point they're in way too deep to turn around now. At least that's the way it will be for Power 5 schools. Smaller schools may take a more cautious approach.

Like the way Georgia, Florida and Texas are using common sense precautions while opening their states back up.

The Fake News media said it's a mistake, yet in all three states the infections are coming down, not going up..

Some people actually need to work to feed their family and pay the mortgage.

Hospitals need to open back up so sick people can get life saving therapy's like chemotherapy.

Using common sense tactics is not hard but you do need to remove your head from the sand to get the process started...

One can see the pressure to open among the league commissioners, college presidents and ADs. In some states virus counts are actually decreasing post open. Yes, the bottom line is $$$$ as most colleges depend on football income as a primary mainstay. UGA is no exception. It is big business! However...caution is the word of the day. Players, coaches, fans and students have been through far too much already to jeopardize it all without a" universal" health plan of return to a semblance of normal classroom scheduling and sports activity. I firmly believe a plan will be announced soon and that colleges will allow students to return to a quasi-normal campus life. I also believe there will be a football kick-off in September as scheduled. Let's all keep our heads and we will safely return to a sport so beloved by this nation....college football. GO DAWGS!!!
