Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Reminder: Unless a student-athete becomes a part of a school-affiliated tie-in like Nike or the like, then they can't use any school logos or gear in the endorsement.
Think about that for a second. How many UGA players would you be able to identify in street clothes? How many do you think that 75% of the rabid Georgia fan base would be able to identify in an ad?
How many Bulldogs do you think would have qualified over the last 3-4 years?
Georgia had the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation last year. How many of those guys right now would qualify for an image or likeness endorsement ad?
For a lot of these guys, it will come down to their local communities. Local weight room. Local training service or restaurant or car dealer, etc.
For many, the abiity to choose a school based on a local endorsement tie-in won't likely outweigh the best place to go to get developed. Do you want to be that kid from Northern Kentucky that wants to make an extra $20K per year at Kentucky or Louisville rather than being the 17th-best prospect in an Alabama, Clemson, Georgia or an Ohio State class?
Which school will develop them better over three years where you can make an extra $3.2 million per year as a top 10 pick? I do believe that will go into the bottom line thinking with all of that.
I'll post a few more thoughts on this matter in the "SI" thread.
Starting QBs will make a killing and the right guard nothing.
Same as the Pros?

appreciate the insight Jeff you make a lot of good points. Could there be opportunities like a local ford dealership giving all the offensive linemen an F150?
Hey you put Rodrigo out there and people would know him!! Lol
If anybody can pay them then everybody can pay them. It could be Nike and it could be somebody who supports a team. And it will start while they are high school.
They could use the Florida players for some of them state billboards with lots of gators and teeth.
