Athens GA is a very special town. UGA is set on a beautiful campus. Sanford Stadium is amazing.

It must seem like apples to apples to these kids, with every coach pitching the same sales points.

If a kid and their family has never visited Athens, and UGA, they simply don't know what UGA really has to offer. I'm sure it's hurting...

Athens is a huge college town, catering to students' families, and outsiders who visit from other colleges. Plus, the scores of fans and alumni who once called Athens their temporary home. The University itself is sprawling and contemporary. But the atmosphere at UGA football headquarters is electrifying yet down to earth! Coaches and other staff are family -driven and recruits are drawn like a maget to this milieu. Recruits need visits! It is hurting UGA right now but I believe things will pick up...they always have....that's the mystique of Dawg Nation. Excellence...GA-style.

Kirby (and his staff) have proven themselves to be elite recruiters time and again. Fear not. The Dawgs will close strong.

The answer to the headline question is a resounding YES! Before the current restrictions and changes caused by the fear and lack of leadership formed by this pandemic, UGA had the three best recruiting classes over the past three years. It is extremely unlikely that UGA would benefit from changes that interfere with our ability to do what we've proven we do best! Again, facts not conjecture is where the truth is found.

All good and still Woofing but an intriguing thing, personally, is how a lifelong GA resident an GA fan could go play for Alabama (right now, Georgia's biggest rival - totally aside from Branden's Florida obsession)? Shouldn't we be focused on beating Alabama? Has the business really become that "corporate" where strapping it on with your state's beasts doesn't carry as much weight as running metrics and projections of position openings and whatever else goes into that crazy formula? I know. I get it. But it still hits me sideways when a GA guy goes to Alabama, Auburn, Florida (hat tip to Brandon), even TN (depends). That's all. We'll see how it plays out.

Sentell has mentioned twice this week that UGA sits currently with 13 commits, obviously including some yet to be revealed commits. Therefore, we are only one commit behind where we were this time last year. Thinking Mims, Bowers, and Ingram-Dawkins will be in the fold very soon. Mondon is turning out to be a dawgfight with Auburn.
