The SEC has adopted a sensible approach in my estimation.

The SEC Champion goes to the play-offs either way. But the SEC only schedule will have many SEC teams playing vastly harder schedules than the Clemson's and Ohio State's of the college football world. Advantage everybody else...

Here’s another interesting thought. With the new changes, the Gators will have 5 home games and 4 away. UGa will have 4 home games and 5 away. Both teams have the so called “neutral” field game against each other. This year UGa is the “home” team in the annual cocktail party. Will Jacksonville and the stadium want to host the game this year if only a few fans can attend? If no, then would the game be played in Athens? Heck, if they can dump annual rivalry games then moving this game to Athens is a lightweight decision. Go Dawgs!!!
