DawgNation Mobile App improvement?
As a huge fan of DawgNation I would like to make a suggestion about the new version of the mobile app. Content is currently organized and presented by segment/author instead of by latest/most recent story. As a result, we open the app only to find the same headline and photo that we have been staring at for several days. Example: today, on August 3, I opened the app only to find the same "Good Day, UGA" piece from July 30. It has been the first story to hit our eyes on the DawgNation app for four straight days. This makes users have to scroll down and search for more recent stories, but it's never obvious which pieces are most recent because there is no visible date on them. It's making readers have to work harder when all we really want to do while standing in a grocery store line (or wherever) is to check quickly if there are any new stories or developments. Will the editors of the site please course correct? Thank you!

@JeffSentell, I like the idea. Tagging Jeff so he can pass along.
Thanks Teddy!
I second this!
Hi Everyone - Thought i'd jump in here and answer the questions/provide insight about our new app. First off, we appreciate all of you enjoying our products, interacting with us and providing feedback on our work and our products. As for our new app, it will allow us to do many things we couldn't previously - but it's not perfect. One thing we can start doing is tagging our latest story to the top of the app. When we do this, it will create a stream of latest stories under the bell icon in the upper right hand corner of the app. If we do this, the bell icon in essence will become the latest stories stream. I understand many would still prefer a single stream app of latest stories, but unfortunately that isn't possible.
Please continue to send feedback and I always welcome your comments to bj.sweeney@coxinc.com.
Thanks everyone!
