Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

SEC to push back start of fall practices for Georgia football, conference memebrs
The Georgia Bulldogs, along with the rest of the SEC, will have to wait just a little bit longer before putting on the pads this fall. After pushing back the start of the season to Sept. 26, the league will also push back the start of practices to Aug. 17, the league announced. The news was first reported by Sports

Ramping down to 14 hrs per week for nine days is silly. What's the benefit?
What sanction will teams face if they violate the conference ban on use of a football? Would the NCAA be involved, or would it be something handled within the SEC? And if it's an SEC level infraction, what powers does the conference have? I could totally see teams breaking the rule if there are no real teeth behind it.
I hope this willy nilly scheduling doesn't cause some Dawg Players to get bored and go looking for something to get into. Tired players don't get into trouble. they use their time to rest.
