- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.
An olive branch
It was obviously a pretty intense week on Dawgnation......and it shouldn't have been. This should be all about our beloved Dawgs and the greatness of college football. This should be our escape from Covid, layoffs, elections and protests. All the things that have made 2020 such a difficult year.....for all of us.
I apologize for the role I played in the arguments that happened this week on Dawgnation.
It's become obvious that I don't always agree with @SoFL_Dawg and some of the opinions he shares on Dawgnation.....but I also know that many.....including @SoFL_Dawg....don't agree with many of my opinions shared on Dawgnation.
However, I do want to be clear that I very much respect his football knowledge and that I agree with his takes much more often than I disagree...and like many on here.....I'm extremely grateful for the info he brings. This board benefits greatly from everything he brings.
So.....like so many others have expressed....I sincerely hope @SoFL_Dawg continues to contribute to Dawgnation. And I'll do my part to make Dawgnation a fun place for all of us to visit.
Go Dawgs

Nice shooting there tex. Board ain't really worth the scroll anymore.
Good message. We live in a time where the media gets paid to make us emotional (usually angry). I have stayed on this board because it is relatively troll free and has some legitimate, knowledgeable members that make me feel like I am "on the inside" and learning more about the game of football.
We would all do better if we remember we are here primarily for a commonality, not our differences. I honestly don't give a crud what your political leanings are. I come here to support and learn about GA football.
I also believe that some need to remember that these are 18-22 year old kids doing their best to represent UGA and get to the next level of their careers. I am glad my 18 year old a** was not on national TV to be judged by some keyboard warriors. Ease up. They chose UGA and UGA chose them. They all sacrificed a lot to get to this level. Fans shouldn't take it personally when they have a bad day. Save that energy for the guys getting paid millions of dollars.
Great post. I think a lot on here haven't taken the time to read Jeff's forum guidelines. Take time to do so if you haven't...
@texdawg GO DAWGS!!!!
Well said! I think many here need to read this.
Well said
X2
Thanks Ghost. That reminder of the forum rules was helpful for me. I feel I broke them today in defense of SoFlo :)
I missed something...
I did too, but apparently soflo got his feelings hurt again and is now off in the corner sulking. This happens about once every six weeks.
This will be the most downvoted post of the day
Yep. LOL
Tex, I appreciate your attempt at being a peacemaker. Looking around today, it's obvious some others are being pretty mean-spirited--you can recognize a tree by its fruit. I also enjoyed hearing SoFL's takes and usually agreed with him, but I always enjoy hearing what you have to say, and especially about your son. I wish we got more of the family members involved here because it's a different perspective entirely. On the fusses, well, that's part of life. They are going to happen, even in families. You have to learn to deal with them.
Thanks man. I appreciate it.
Tex, I've always enjoyed reading your post and glad to have you around!!!
