Fan Feedback: DawgNation praises historic defensive performance against Tennessee
Holding an opponent to negative rushing yards in a quarter is impressive. Doing it for a half is almost unheard of in the SEC. On Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs held Tennessee to minus-1 rushing yards in the entire game. Behind that vaunted run defense, the Bulldogs made the Volunteers one-dimensional and pulled away

So much for that heralded Vols O-line. Can you say "humbled"?! Go Dawgs!!
After watching the ole miss, bama game I'm convinced if Kiffin had the talent and depth UGA had, they prolly would of won. It was 42-42 with 10min. left and just wore down. I hope we can come up with a better offensive plan than we did tonight. It's a winnable game !
I have a rules question. When the snap went over Bennett's head, as he was running back to get it, my initial thought was to kick the ball through the end zone and save 5 points. Is there anything illegal about doing that?
And Cade "toxic" Mays had a pretty crappy day. At least he's not in the toxic Georgia atmosphere, any longer, huh, Cade? Independence Bowl, here they come!
Wow! I say that to both the good and the bad in this game. This defense is very good, and looks capable of being historically good.
I really thought UT would be able to manage a couple of drives supported by a decent run game with their O-line.
Can anybody run on this defense? I guess we'll find out next Saturday. JG had his moments with a few very well placed balls. Otherwise it was a dominating day for this Junkyard defense.
Offense is still a work in progress, which I expected. It is showing signs of coming together with Kearis Jackson looking like Ga's best receiver. Now George Pickens needs to show more consistency.
The run game needs work. Both the O-line and the RB position seemed to be lacking against the Vols defense. Give credit to the UT defense for that. But White looked indecisive and even slow at times. Might be time to give the freshman Milton more reps.
I have no idea of what we will get next week against Alabama. It looks like a winnable game, but is the GA offense ready at this point in the season? How good is the Bama defense?
I just know it's great to have SEC football in this crazy year. GOOODAWGS!
Yes, it's called an illegal kick and it becomes a dead ball. I think the KY punter did it, but he was in the end zone so it counted as a safety. If in the field of play it would have been a dead ball and 10 yard penalty. Thing is, maybe he should have been called for illegal batting, which would be a 10 yd penalty, although TN probably would have declined the penalty. I don't think he was in position to kick it though.
