The last time Georgia and Alabama played, Georgia tight end Tre' McKitty was watching from his couch. The then Florida State Seminole was tuning in to watch the 2018 SEC Championship Game as a fan. When the two teams met in the national championship game the previous January, McKitty said he was watching from his

Dawg365...maybe he hired a ghost writer. LOL It was pretty bad, yes. Sophomoric. Glaring word omissions. I am a UGA J-School grad. Connor would have not done well in our reporting labs. It is not the most poorly written I have ever read, however. Proof read, Connor. The gist of it all is that the rivalry between UGA and Bama continues as one of the major SEC contests. Bama head coach Nick Saban vs his former defensive line coach Kirby Smart. Saban has never lost to one of his understudies. Will this be the year of the Dawg? Hope so. GO DAWGS!!!

Connor doesn’t do proofreading. Anyway, make no mistake about it, this is going to be a very physical game. My biggest concern is the Dawgs get a fair shake from the refs in this game. If we get that, keep Bama off balance when we have the ball and keep their running game in check, I believe we can come away 4-0. Three or four timely sacks would be icing on the cake. I can’t wait for this game. C’mon Kirby, be the first former assistant to defeat Saban! GATA! Go Dawgs!

"My biggest concern is the Dawgs getting a fair shake from the refs in this game"

I feel the same way. If they do, I think it's a 50/50 matchup.

I said it before the last two Georgia-Alabama games. If Georgia wins by 7, it will mean they actually won by at least 14 because the SEC officials always give Alabama plays. The amount of non calls Alabama gets in these games is astonishing.

Crossing my fingers that with the spotlight already on the officials (Already Giving Auburn Two Game Deciding Gifts) that maybe they will be more inclined to call the game the same for both teams. We will see...

We need to be even more physical and aggressive than we were against Auburn. If we can play our A game on both sides of the ball, get good pressure on Jones, and seriously eliminate costly penalties, mistakes, AND turnovers then we will have a good shot at winning this game. If we can't execute practically flawlessly on both sides of the ball we are probably not going to win. Our defense cannot win this game without the offense doing their part. Bama will not be repeating their defensive sloppiness again this week like they did against the Rebels. We all know Saban will make sure of that.

The Dawgs have taken the Tide the full distance of a game TWICE in the last few years and should/could have won both of those contests. We have NO reason to fear the Tide, and there is every reason in the world to think we should be able to beat them...even in their house. And there is no reason we can't beat the Tide now and in the SEC Championship.

    FINISH THE DRILL...GO DAWGS!!

Play your tails off, and play smart, Dawgs! Keep your minds in the game, and let's beat those guys! Get your minds right, and let's go out there and beat them!

    BEAT BAMA!

    GO DAWGS!

SEC championship game stakes are on the line.  And maybe even a Play-off spot

This may be the first game of a two game play-off elimination series.

The winner may be able to lose the SECCG in a very competitive game and still be able to make it into the play-offs with only one loss. Lose both games in the series and you are essentially eliminated.

    This game is huge!
