On Tuesday night, Georgia coach Kirby Smart made it clear that Georgia very much wanted to get back onto the field after his program lost 44-28 to Florida. "We need a game. We want to play," Smart said. "If we are given the opportunity to do that, then we will. If we don’t then we have to work to get better. We get

Connor, hasn't this topic been covered this week?

The only thing we really have to play for is getting as much actual game experience to a ton of newer players with the injuries and the upcoming need in 2021 to replace a lot on defense. And obviously, the QB question needs playing time for Daniels and Beck to figure that out going into next Spring practice. When Vandergriff comes in next Spring he can compete as well.

And I'd sincerely hope we open up the offensive playbook on the remaining games to a full menu of Monken offensive plays and schemes to give the players a taste of what's to come for next season. Win, lose, or draw, we've got to start playing more aggressively on offense.

The rest of the season should be viewed as scrimmages to allow Monken to get players familiar with the system he wants to run.

Agree. The remainder of the season should look very LSU-like. With the crazy COVID situation, UGA should be definitely be rebuilding. Problem is, UGA will be losing much of its defense, next year, and may be rebuilding there, then. even more important to get the offense rolling, now.

They always have a lot to play for, I don't care what their W/L record is. Putting that UGA uniform on is a privilege. You play for pride! You play for you brothers. If none of that means anything to some of them, then they can hit the road, jack! Be all in, or be out the door!

Oh, and we can still go to a great bowl game, so...

    GO DAWGS!

    KEEP FIGHTING!
