You hold your breath on this decision...you'll turn deep blue! I think Fitch is doing his best at this juncture to make the end games happen. He just does not know past Tennessee. He doesn't appear to even know who the players are...in total? What is virus, what is opt out?

Right now, Mizzouri occupies my mind.

I fully intend to get a pet giraffe and take it for a ride on the space shuttle.

I hope their players have enough character to finish what they've started, even if it is a season with zero wins and girls on your team. I cannot blame them for wanting to quit. But do not quit on your team, your school! I would rather go down as given my all against adversity with an 0-10 record than live with an 0-8 record as a quitter! Put a lineman at receiver if you have to. Finish the season.

Last thought, I will be shocked if Vegas allows any bets on the game against us if it is indeed played.

The problem here is that Vandy's administration only pays lip service to supporting football. They don't mind collecting that big SEC check at the end of the year but hardly reinvest any of it in their football program. They fired their coach before the season ended; they've had a typically terrible season; they trotted out a girl kicker as a publicity stunt who was allowed to lecture her teammates when she had been on the team for all of 5 minutes; and thanks to Covid, there's no penalty this year for players quitting on their teams. The remaining Vandy players have zero incentive to come to Athens next week to collect yet another beat down. I don't blame them, but I do blame all those other players who quit on them.

After the Vowels pound them this Saturday, I fully expect Vandy to use the excuse that they don't have enough healthy players left to play the Dogs. The game will be declared a no contest. BUT, as a penalty, the SEC should step in and tell Vandy that their home game with us next year will now be moved to Athens and will remain in Athens for 2021 and 2022. We'll pick up an extra home game and Vandy will lose out on all the revenue from 40,000 Dawg fans who would have filled up their sorry excuse for a stadium.
