Watching the Liberty vs Coastal game and vaguely heard the commentators say Freeze was looking for something interesting or to that effect. Not surprised he didn't go AU or don't see him having interest in the dumpster fire in TN for all the obvious reasons. After a few hazy thoughts I came to the thought that he's being patient and going to wait it out till OU or UT comes available.

Think about it, Riley will head for Sundays in the next yr or 2. TH time is short lived at best at UT....

Freeze could recruit like a mad man at either of those schools and not have to deal with saban or Kirby annually!

His boys are handling Coastal with relative ease right now. I, too, believe Freeze is biding his time. Won't be long before you'll be able to see Freeze the Sleeze again in P5 football.

If I were him, I'd be waiting for Florida State to open up again. With the right coach, they can compete for national championships. Even if they lose to Clemson, they can make the playoff why betting the rest of the ACC.

I'm certainly no fan of Hugh Freeze but he has Liberty looking pretty good. Lots of publicity for Liberty University which I'm sure was the point of moving to FBS.

Despite his past, he will get an opportunity.

Jamey Chadwell obviously will too. It would be interesting to see what he can do with a better roster.

All the credit in the world to the QB for Coastal. He made some amazing throws. That goal-line situation. That was so crazy. Easy opportunity to run out the clock, but wait.

"Let's run the ball up into LOS, then stop before scoring, then a sea of bodies, and a lost possession. Wait, did he score? No, he fumbled.

Then in overtime, winning on a field goal. Just a crazy game.
