Georgia football winners and losers following Gunner Stockton commitment
Winner: Todd Monken and Buster Faulkner Georgia's offensive coordinator, Monken, and top offensive analyst, Faulkner, have been at Georgia for a little over a year. In that time, Georgia has landed two 5-star quarterbacks, in 2021 prospect Brock Vandagriff and 2022 commitment Gunner Stockton, who pledged to the

Hurry up August!!!!
Fingers crossed on seeing a G Day game. It should be fun to watch.
Kirby started Mathis over Bennet against Arkansas. 2020 That's a major recent blunder.
Hope he continues to grow as a coach. He's not there yet. Saban doesn't make a miscalibration like that. It almost cost KIrby against a team that went 2-10 the year before and against an ex UGA coach. How embarrassing would that have been?
Who was the guy who saved his bacon? They guy who was told by said coaching staff, "We don't see you starting at UGA." Stetson performed admirably save for the 2nd half of the BAMA game (that wasn't all on him though, protection broke down and we couldn't run. Had us up on FLA til he got his shoulder injured.
Yeh, hope Kirby get's much better at recognizing who gives UGA the best chance at winning.
If you go back and check the recent history of recruiting you will see that having multiple 5-star and/or high ranked 4-star QBs on campus is commonplace with Georgia, Bama, Clemson, Oklahoma and Ohio State. For example: In 3 consecutive years the Buckeyes have recruited the #1, #3 and #5 ranked QBs. This is also typical of the other teams mentioned. I guess this is how it works for the top 5 teams in America. Go Dawgs!!!
In several years Gunner may have all is wishes come true. Muschamp is already on campus and in a few years we may lose our OC and I’m sure Bobo would be happy to return to his alma mater. Both Bobo and Muschamp successfully recruited Gunner to SC before the ensuing chaos in Columbia. Go Dawgs!!!
There were no significant 2021 skill players recruited because they stacked up in 2020. I am sure that will not be the case the next 2-3 cycles. Out of all position groups, I would say that the most imbalanced recruiting cycle wise would be the DB/secondary.
Bobo had some decent offensive numbers, but who on here doesn't remember those head scratcher plays called at inopportune times? Why Bobo didn't have Murray spike the ball and set up 2 plays inside the 10 against BAMA we'll never know. Instead we ran a play into the strength of their defense that was never going to work. Just can't go back to OLD School IMO. Imagine if it didn't work out.
I don't think Kirby wants anyone who could possibly challenge him for the HC position.
"Neither ended playing for Bobo and both — Gunner Stockton and Jacob Eason — will play for Georgia." Has Gunner signed with UGA?
