Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Couldn’t be happier
For those who remember the story of my involvement with Joseph....and particularly with his recruiting......
I’m happy to share that he is committed to Yale. Requires one year of prep school....at Taft prep school in Connecticut....and then it’s Yale......
It’s freakin YALE!!!!
- Joseph signing with his mom looking on.
- Me, Joseph and my son Luke.

He’s a 6’3” 265lb DT for those wondering.
Wow, that's amazing! Congratulations Joseph!!
Great news. Thanks for sharing, Tex. Congrats all around.
Hope he enjoys Taft as well. My godson did a prep year at Avon before joining the football program at UVA.
That's cool. Congrats to the young man.
Btw for those that don't know, YALE inspired Georgia to name themselves the Bulldogs.
That is awesome!!!!
Congrats Tex, to you and Joseph. I’ll be rooting for him.
Best of luck to the young man, on the field and in the class room!
does that make your son about 6''5" or 6'6" ?
Just adding to that- UGA's founders (Lyman Hall, Abraham Baldwin, and Josiah Meigs) were all graduates of Yale.
Very cool.
Congratulations .....Go Bulldogs!
6’5 1/2” (barefoot) and about 230lbs
Thank you to everyone......hectic year for recruiting.
Between Covid, recruiting dead period, no college camps, getting injured senior season, and not good film junior year.....the bigger schools backed away late in recruiting.
Estimated between 250-350 fewer kids will sign with a D1 school in 21’ because of transfer portal and seniors getting another year.
In the end it couldn’t have worked out better for Joseph......graduate from Yale.....and he’ll be hired.
Is Yale a good school?
