The only thing I can argue is Jordan Davis not being on there. Our only offensive selection would have been Pickens, but he is obviously out for most the year if not the whole year.

Good, Good !! These media pieces should just serve as a fire under our beloved Dawgs !! Though it stings when media does this I’d rather that than laying a bunch of bragging on that could serve as rat poison . The Dawgs have many, many times seemed to thrive on being under estimated than the other way around. Go Dawgs !! Sic Em !!

Politically USA Today twists and lies about everything so why expect anything different from their maniac liberal sports journalists?

Looks about right with the exceptions of omitting Jorden Davis and having Cade Mays on there period. If anything, Mays has underachieved the last two seasons after a good freshman year.

Until as fans & players we get the "ain't won nothin' since 1980" **** off our backs, the respect will not be there.

Not sure how they derive their selections but its interesting that Arkansas has 3 selections and picked to finish 6th in their division. Seems like they have more talent than a 6th place finish. Also, the love for Alabama is a little obnoxious. Why is Saban coach of the year but has the most talented team? Shouldn't the COTY do more with less and not meet expectations (regardless of how lofty)?

I'll care when preseason awards equate to actual season success.

Not choosing Jordan Davis is the real snub...but you know folks, let the play and execution on the field in 2021 show everyone that the Dawgs deserve more respect!

    GO DAWGS!!

Thanks to USA Today for doing CKS a huge favor. He will use this as a wake up call to the UGA players that maybe you want to work a little harder because you are not viewed as All American type players. Whoever came up with this list will be embarrassed by it by the end of the year. As for randyglass14 and "underperforming against all that talent" tell that to LSU's team of the century and Nick Saban and his 9 straight (?) #1 recruiting classes. I will put this UGA team up against any team in the country with confidence.

    Preseason Coach of the Year?

Can someone explain this concept to me?

This is great news. So when UGA stuffs Harris, they are stuffing the all-sec back. When Davis and crew soen dhe afternoon in the UT backfield, it will be against an all-sec lineman. It will be interesting to see how many All-Americans UGA has at the end of the year, having placed nobody on the all sec list.

@natejaws the reason Arkansas is picked where they are is because they play in the West. If they were in the East they would be third or fourth with wins over UT, Vandy, USCe and a split between Missouri or Ky. As it is they are probably favored in only one game in the West and that would be against MSU.

One of their games could be both interesting and fun and that is against Texas.

As for Saban, he has only 3 returning starters on offense and 4 new offensive coaches. As far as roster talent, last year UGA had the most roster talent of any team in college football with UA being second. Having lots of talent on your team does not guarantee wins.
