The Georgia football defense had another dominant showing on Saturday.

Jalen Carter is now one of my favorites. That behemoth took out THREE defenders. Last week he pancaked an RB charging at the line. These UGA O and D -lineman are beyond description. Both sides of the ball played extremely well. I am truly excited about this team's chances for the big dance. It has been awhile. Very proud of the Dawgs team, coaches....and the fanatical UGA fan base....!
For as long as I can remember, I've been struggling to understand why points that are scored when the defense isn't even on the field get officially counted against the defense. It simply makes no sense.
I’ve been watching Georgia football for a looong, looong time. Yeah I’m an “old fart!” As I sat watching this team today, I felt we are watching something truly special going on. All these guys seem to genuinely like one another, they play disciplined, they attack the ball carrier on defense, the RB’s run hard every carry. Everyone on this team just gets after it and does their job. This is a tribute to CKS and his whole staff of dedicated, hard working and “leaders of men” coaches. I believe this program is in a very good place at this point in time. I salute all the players for their hard work and to the coaches for their dedication to coaching these young men up. Go Dawgs!
All due respect to all UGA coaches who have come before, this is the most well coached team in the history of the program considering all aspects of the program…recruiting, offense, defense, special teams.
From one “ old fart” to another-Well said, sir!
Some people are saying "wait until Georgia plays a good team". Georgia played a good top ten team on Saturday and DOMINATED them in ever phase of the game. Next , is Auburn a team that has ruined may a season for the Bulldogs when they come from nowhere with a miraculous play beat us.
Gus is gone ,and this new coach that Auburn has seems to have built something with this team to come from behind and beat the Tigers at home in Baton Rouge.
I think that this is the best team Georgia has ever had, and next Saturday the team has the chance to prove it one more time. We must win the SEC and beat Alabama at least once to win the National Championship. Everything is in place for us to win it all.
It is our time now to dominate Auburn for sixty minutes just like we have done with every team we've played this year. GO DAWGS!!!
