- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

There is a fine line between supreme confidence in yourself and your team and in arrogance. I don't know of any coach who doesn't want a killer instinct for lack of a better word in his team, of course which borders on arrogance. But no coach wants his team to get the big head and just believe walking out onto the field guarantees a victory. Focused confidence in the task at hand.
Rat poison is believeing the other team is just going to lay down and let you have your way with them just becasue you're so awesome.
The sports media make it their business to salt their reports with rat poison. Saban and Smart are both right. The media need a story hook or lead....so they create them. Stetson Bennett for one. He was the mailman...delivering...until he was not delivering. On to JT Daniels....superstar....Heisman hopeful...king of the air...until he was not the starting QB. Back to the mailman delivering even better mail. On and on. The media make of the game what they will. Doing their job sometimes raises some real hard questions by us onlookers. But they will continue as long as there is college football.

And we expert armchair QBs will continue to read and analyze the media, at least until we go over that cliff ahead...
I don't believe that we "host the Auburn Tigers". In fact, the Auburn Tigers host us.
