Jeff, you really captured the essence of Adam Anderson as a person and as an athlete. You get out of life what you put into it. Adam is one special individual and one very special athlete. He is centered. His love for God and family are rare qualities these days. Remembering his late sister on his wrist band was very heart warming. Adam poses a powerful presence on the field and is heralded as one of the best of the UGA Wolf Pack. I am certain KY will feel his presence in a very personal way as well. He is a formidable linebacker and I believe will be a major contributor in UGA's upcoming victory over KY.
A very classy young man.
An excellent article on a more than excellent subject, Jeff. In college football at this level, it takes more than tremendous athleticism to reach the pinnacle. Centered but not self-centered captures the ethos of real champions. Adam and many other gifted athletes from this team have internalized the cohesiveness that is derived from "us" over "me".
Great story that reveals a lot about Adam. He's a definite asset to the team and sounds like a terrific human being. We all should strive to be better people and encourage others to do the same.
Here's hoping he gets his 20 sacks!
Go Dawgs!
Great article, awesome kid an DGD.
