Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Forum Policing
Why is this forum policed at all? How hard is it to just ignore a comment, or poster, or not get feelings hurt over a post?
What liability is there for dawnation? Serious question.. Screen shots of paid articles, i get that...sure. But telling someone to keep it on topic seems like overkill, just ignore it or downvote it till it disappears, who cares honestly?
I cant imagine its a good business strategy for this level of control. Not a rant against mods, more so the ideaolgy that we have to control whats placed on the board.
Comments
Nope!
I have been a MOD, on anther board that was work related, AND it no longer exists!
There were very little to NO Rules! IT flopped in months!
IF we adhere to the rules, it works, nothing more, nothing less!
I appreciate what we have! "Just go with it baby, we live under Cox's rules"
This is a pretty nice (and FREE!!!) place for all DAWGFANS. I would hate for something to go wrong, and for any of us (or all of us?) to be at any kind of risk of losing it (this forum) altogether. I have now been here since September of 2017, and I really enjoy being here. GO DAWGS!!!
It needs policing or we lose some of the best posters and you are left with trash.
I get work related. HR violations and what have you. But we arent talking about our employer. Either way seems, like from the comments people enjoy the regulation as far as I can tell from comments thus far.
Nothing is free, if your not paying, your the product. Traffic allows for ads. Me and you arent paying, but certainly there is still money to be made off of a forum. Not complaining about that at all.
@Gurleyman I’m fine with all of that too, as we all know that going in as we join up here. The main point for me is that I don’t have to pay any actual money to be in here, and I’ve made a lot of friends in here also who all love the Georgia Bulldogs. Being as I live way out in San Diego these days, this forum is just one way that I feel I can stay connected to Georgia. I’ve still got a lot of family there. I only left for my military service to the US Marine Corps. GO DAWGS!!!
Yeah this Forum is of tremendous therapeutic value for me and if u love the Georgia Bulldogs and u can't find happiness on here during these times somethings wrong and maybe u should take up another hobby.
Seems like some discretion is being allowed now. Has there been an update to the policy?
Not exactly. We’re just waiting for further confirmation before going HAM on these links.
I think physical force should be used to keep posters in line. Just my two cents.
That's fair. But I remember the old boards where it was the wild west anything goes. And they seemed to work just fine. I'd rather just let us block/mute individual posters and carry on like adults. I understand it needs some moderation, but I think they're too aggressive here. But I'm just your average poopie head.
Now, if we could just get snoop back.
