They fire Orgeron for beating FL and let Mullen remain at FL. for losing to LSU....go figure.

Yeah, maybe they figure the only chance they have to beat UGA (slim as it might be) is to not fire their HC two weeks out. Don't think it will help. And if UGA pummels them, he's gone anyway. Other choice was to fire him and elevate Grantham or Brewster to interim. Now that Grantham can't figure out how to stop the run, not all that attractive anyway.

But hey, it's Florida. Who knows how gator brain works.

Yeah! The timing couldn't be worst for Dan Mullen.

SEC Records: Mullen 54-49. Orgeron 39-36.

It must be great to be Alabama. You lose to an unraked team and fall to number 5. A week later you are at number 4. I hope I do not have to witness this happening...I wonder how far them Dawgs would drop if that was to occur. Iowa went from 2 to 11. That's 9 spot compared to 3. History has proven that Alabama never fall to far from the top. Look back when Georgia and Alabama lost to Auburn before meeting in the championship game. Alabama is a great team but the ranking is unfair for others and keep Bama on top.

Mullen not even on the hot seat yet. They are moral victory champs so he's safe 😆

Only in the SEC can a coach lose his job beating the team with the coach who doesn't get out coached. Lol 😎
