Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Living in Turkey 🇹🇷 since 2014 (hence the TurkDawg name). Lived in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 from 2006-14. Born in downtown Atlanta and went to UGA 1982-86.
Favorite Dawg memory while living overseas was watching the 2008 Sugar Bowl game against Hawaii live on local cable channel AlmaTV, with Russian language commentators. Our time zone was 11 hours ahead of EST so we got up at 7:30am Jan 2 to watch the game with friends.
We sent a letter to Mark Richt with a photo of us gathered around the TV. CMR, always a class act, answered our letter promptly on UGA football stationery!
Go Dawgs!
Awesome story

Here's the aforementioned Sugar Bowl 2008 pic sent to Coach Mark Richt from Kazakhstan - note the camera self-timer happened to catch a dejected Hawaii QB Colt Brennan on the TV screen.
Awesome pic!
All those happy dawg fans!
Born in Prince Avenue Hospital. Moved to north central Indiana shortly after.
Currently residing in Indianapolis, IN. National championship party at my house.
I was one of his HS Coaches.... Great young man from a great family. Georgia got a kid who will ball out, Get good grades and not have off the field issues.
Great job Coach. Kid was ready to play from the start.
Great picture!!! That game was awesome. I remember that before the game CMR was asked in an interview something like would GA be able to handle Hawaii’s high powered offense and how. I don’t recollect his response, but I do remember that while giving his response CMR was trying not to laugh. I will admit I honestly started feeling sympathetic towards Colt Brennan way before he was knocked out of the game. He was a really good college QB and he had no chance against the UGA defense. Really, Hawaii had no business playing GA and that was obvious from kickoff.
To stay on topic, I lived in Canada many years and have recently moved back to South Ga. Born in Tifton, GA.
