It's their Home Coming and the " Hooker for Heisman " campaign has begun. Hope the Dawgs get off to a fast start.

I went to take a gander at some of the comments from the orange enemy. One guy was saying UGA has not seen an Offense like the Vols. Umm I don’t think the Vols have seen a D like their gonna see verses the Dawgs either !! I’ll give them their due, they can rack up points and fast. And in their stadium playing for the home crowd I’m sure they will be totally amped. BUT I’m also very sure Kirby has been and will be preaching to the Dawgs all week about the importance of staying focused and getting the job done. They Do have a pretty potent O but look to be pretty porous on their D. They did allow KY to put up 42 pts. Ironically they did win the game on a pick six. But I’m Believing ( there goes that B word again !!) that they will Not be able to score as effectively against the Dawgs D, and I also Believe that if KY could put up 42 pts on them the Dawgs can match that and/or better. We shall see. Go Dawgs !!

Conner, been a long time since we heard anything about Pickens. Any updates? And I'm assuming Arik Gilbert has played football for the last time.

On another note. UT's tempo might be to their disadvantage, if our O line wears down their thin defense, as it should, and the dominant Dawg D gives UT's defense 90 seconds on the bench between beat downs, it could be a very bad day, for UT.

I know they probably don't update everything, but based on Kirby's comments, Salyer should at least be listed as "questionable.," instead of OUT. Now maybe he won't play, but Kirby says he's going to try to go. Based on what Kirby said about Pickens last week @Popeyethesailor, I don't think we see him until the SECCG at the earliest. Maybe, if we're very lucky, against Tech. But it sounded like the championship game was what they were targeting. I still don't believe Dominick Blaylock plays during the regular season. He's always getting a setback. I do wonder, though, how Kendall Milton is progressing? Hoping he gets back next week to give us a little more depth. And finally, I too, was glad to see Julian Rochester get on the field and play. That kid has stayed the course through a lot of adversity. He's a DGD. Go Dawgs!

No. Stop thinking that UT will wear down on defense. UK has a physical o-line, ran 99 plays, had the ball for 46 minutes, both things that UGA can't do. And UT ONLY played 21 players or so on defense. And still ended the game with their defense on the field. Yes, a lot of holes, but not a team that may wear out. That old philosophy is just not real. UGA needs to just keep their offense off the field. By attacking on defense and making them go 3 and out. Now if the defense gets UT on a 3 and out will definitely help. But UK didn't help push the issue either. They literally huddled after every play. UGA will need to do a slow version of no-huddle, to not allow substitutions.

    GO DAWGS!!!!!

I was just saying that...UGA needs to get off to a fast start...throw the Vols off their game. Keep the pressure on them. Sack Hooper a few times. Instead of the Vols controlling the tempo, how about UGA taking the game to them. Reverse what is expected. I do not believe the Vols could handle it. Interrupt their game plan. The hype has been ridiculous. Do not fall for the hype. UGA needs to get after them! Take care of business.
