Six of the 12 reported UGA injuries are knee injuries. I am not sure why UGA is playing Charleston Southern at this juncture. Though with UGA's schedule it was a good pick. Please Kirby take it easy in practice.....no more injuries. Play 2nd string in this game. They are 5 and 4. Let JT Daniels have this one....even Beck and Vandagriff....CS is an FCS team.

Samford and FL was a joke for most of that game...Samford led...then FL finally blew it up to 70 pts. and won. Mullen's job is in jeopardy, according to some reports I have read.

Take NOTHING and NO TEAM for granted, Kirby. We don't want to get anyone hurt, but wining the game is THE MOST IMPORTANT part. Glad Nolan Smith and Devonte Wyatt are thought to be OK. That's a relief. Interesting that Smart didn't say that Arian Smith is out for the year. He just said he didn't know for how long. Is it possible that Smith somehow makes it back in time for the playoffs? Fingers crossed. Also, after reading this, Seth Emerson's column in The Athletic and what Gary Danielson said during Saturday's broadcast, I'm now starting to think that JT Daniels isn't playing because he's still not 100 percent healthy. Anyway, Go Dawgs!

If it wasn't clear before TN it is clear now. CKS is not making a QB change this season. Period. As long as he is healthy SBIV is the starter. Doesn't mean that JTD shouldn't get the majority of snaps over the next 2 games. SHOULD SBIV get hurt you need a rust free JTD going forward. Sit all the hurt guys vs CS (and prob GT). UGA's 2's (and 3's) can beat CS. Liked Truss at RG. Ericson was getting muscled by the TN DT. That stopped when Truss went into the game. Best OL now might be (L-R) BJones, Salyer, SVPG, Truss, McClendon. I also liked seeing CSmith at STAR. He is an excellent option vs passing teams. And taken a step further, Brini can slide down to LB vs passing teams.

Kirby, keep doing what you are doing! Football is just as much a contact sport Monday through Wednesday as it is on Saturday. Some people are just whiners and complainers regardless of outstanding results. This team is far and away the best team in the country because you never take time off from recruiting, stack talent like cordwood, and truly have a “next man up” mentality because the way the team is coached the players are better today than yesterday and will be better tomorrow than they were today!

Interesting comment by Paul Finebaum today while conversing with a caller. He inferred that the UGA game with C of C will be shown only on ESPN+ or SEC network+ rather than the SEC network to squeeze a few more dollars out of Dawg fans who will pay the extra bit to see the game if they do not as yet have a broadcasting package allowing access. Of course, for us oldtimers (born in the first half of the 20th century), complaining about diminshed access to a college game seems somewhat hollow given our experience with an era when at most 1 or 2 games were broadcast per weekend.

This team is not "far and away " the best team in the country. There are some people who see a young, maturing AL (or even OSU) as getting better every week and being a pick'em game vs UGA. We all thought UGA was "far and away" better then Cinn in the bowl game. UGA took advantage of a replacement LT in the 2nd half. UGA needed the ejection of the starting LT in the 1st half to win that game at the horn. Each time UGA loses another key player, UGA gets closer to everyone else. At this point in the season beating each other up in practice makes little sense. Be a fan but try to see reality and be objective. "Far and away" better? Not after losing so many players. Margin for error for winning a NC is incredibly small as it is.

Georgia was already listed as a three point favorite against Bama…

Those 3 pts and $4 will get you a cup of coffee at Starpucks. TN threw for 332 yards. HHooker and JMilton! IF SBIV keeps throwing the ball up for grabs when pressured as he did vs TN (and MO) and the UGA team that showed up at TN (receivers running free on most plays) shows up for the SECCG, UGA will not beat AL. Saban has a lot of young talent getting better every game including a 5* QB who will win the Heisman if AL makes a run. This UGA team minus 6-7 starters (Pickens, Daniels, Ratledge, Anderson, Kimber, TSmith, Blaylock) is depleted. UGA has only played 1 team this year that is currently ranked (AR #21) and no team with a upper level QB. Yes AL is more beatable now than they have been in years past but a slow starting UGA w/a QB who puts the ball in harms way when pressured (have you seen Will Anderson play?) is not a good recipe for beating AL. I hope UGA does but Saban will have a plan to limit and pressure SBIV as he did last year.

Well you asked what the line of the game was, not who would win.

These 2 men are DGD's to hear their thoughtful and "Characterful" responses and the commitment they have to the G is unbelievable! Thank you for representing the G in such a class way. Know this, You guys could play a high school team and your fans want to see you play!

I never asked what the point spread was. I said that, in reality, UGA vs AL and/or UGA vs OSU would be virtually pick'em games. In response to someone saying UGA was "far and away" the best team in the country. 3 pt spread NOW is not "far and away" better. Who knows what the spread will be in 2.5 weeks. Especially if any more UGA players get hurt in practice. The spread doesn't really matter and wasn't the point. If you think UGA passed the eyeball test vs TN or MO and is going to roll over AL or OSU you are not objectively looking at your team.

When was the last time Bama was an underdog in those types of games? Virtually never. You’re gonna look back on this season one day and wish you enjoyed it more.
