Hey folks - as a member of the DawgNation community, please remember to abide by simple rules of civil engagement with other members:
- Please no inappropriate usernames (remember that there may be youngsters in the room)
- Personal attacks on other community members are unacceptable, practice the good manners your mama taught you when engaging with fellow Dawg fans
- Use common sense and respect personal differences in the community: sexual and other inappropriate language or imagery, political rants and belittling the opinions of others will get your posts deleted and result in warnings and/ or banning from the forum
- 3/17/19 UPDATE -- We've updated the permissions for our "Football" and "Commit to the G" recruiting message boards. We aim to be the best free board out there and that has not changed. We do now ask that all of you good people register as a member of our forum in order to see the sugar that is falling from our skies, so to speak.

Oh! Thank you for that. Learn something new every day.
In that case, I'm sure I definitely qualify for OCP, if not OCD.
TBH, I think I could become OCD if I allowed myself to. I have urges to do all sorts of OCD things, but I try hard to keep them in check. And when I observe or read about OCD people, I totally get why they do what they do (re-arranging place settings, washing hands, or whatever.)
Hope your wife doesnβt know who Baxleydawg isβ¦
i was giving you credit for a genius level joke either way
She caught me. When we first started dating I was playing the field.
I wear the same UGA t-shirt under my game day red UGA shirt and the same Red and Black socks on game day. And I only wear those on game day. Good news is that when you do that your clothes will last for a long time! It maybe B.S. but it's my B.S. Go Dawgs!
That number that comes after 12. I don't even want to say it. If it is the only line open at a store I'll wait until another one opens.
I don't have any superstitions, but I'm quite sure the jersey colors affect the outcome of the game. For instance, there is a curse on our red jerseys in championship/playoff games. No worries on this weekend, folks. You can relax because the colors only affect the biggest games. All of our big losses in CG/CFPs of the past ten years were in red, and our wins were in white. Let's not even talk about the effect the black jerseys have on the Dawgs. Please. Bottom line: you should bet your whole retirement and net worth on a Dawg win on the 4th for only one reason--we are in white jerseys.π
I will take any positive credit that I can get. I appreciate it.
Whew, I have a 75 pound, life sized concrete statue of UGA with an R&B UGA collar on my front porch (got him at Lowe's in Florida for 29.99! I don't think they realized it was UGA, or they would have charged more). He's facing Miami right now, so that means we've got both the semi and final covered between our two homes, BEACHDAWG. Every time my 2YO granddaughter comes over she walks over and pats him on the head and says, hi UGA. It's gonna take one more of our family to cover Dallas, and one to cover Atlanta, so we need a couple of folks to step up. It's a good thing we aren't superstitious!
Stay on board, Bax. You are ok with me.
I got 2 concrete BullDawgs that I painted white and they are facing the ATL (East)
Outstanding! We've got it all covered except for Dallas, TX...just for our superstitious brethren, of course.
@BiffLowman I'll give you credit that sometimes things as simple as this one right here above? IMHO that makes us all more human in our forum, and really connected through all things Georgia.
PS - I am also being superstitious that REALLY GOOD THINGS have always happened for Georgia whenever I have reached out with random kindness to folks that I hardly know. The latest example?, that was before the Tennessee game, I bought a lady her McDonald's breakfast in the drive thru line right behind me. That was really fun. She teared up and screamed out a 'thank you", then later that day Georgia ROMPED 41-17.
GO DAWGS!!!
My parents in Ft Worth have a big painted bulldog out front. Heck, they have Bulldogs everywhere.
Dallas is covered
@PerroGrande WAGER EVERYTHING that I own??? Well now, THAT SOUNDS LIKE A REALLY GREAT PLAN to me!!! Do you think that I should even I tell my wife first??, Or nah??!!! I believe that she will be just over the moon, and simply freaking ECSTATIC at just what I have done, once she finds out.... when I tell her right there in our living room just the before kickoff, right???!!!
I wear the same clothes, eat the same breakfast, and drink the same thing as long as weβre on a winning streak. If we lose, I change it up.
Is he facing Arlington?π
That depends on whether you are superstitious that your wife might kill you for being stuupid.
ππππππππππ
Heck, I will move my Dawg when I get home from work today!! West it is!
Go Dawgs!
(not that any of us are superstitious!)
Well, Tex, didn't see your post! You always got it covered!! But I am still going to do it since would be bad Karma to back out now! (oh, did that sound superstitious?)
