Go ahead and establish the line for the front runner to coach UF in ‘25/‘26.

Once UGA gets their natty, Kirby’s recruiting will only get stronger!

    Go Dawgs! Break Bama!

And Oklahoma won't be much competition when they join the SEC with a new coach after Lincoln Riley takes the HC job at USC..

Looks like he was not really successful as OC, but was very successful at UL as a head coach. Maybe he is better suited as head coach rather than a coordinator because he recruits better? It's hard to say how he will perform at UF, but if Kirby can compete against Nick Saban, he can compete against anyone.

Napier is definitely an upgrade for the Gators in terms of coaching AND recruiting. I always love fresh Gator meat!!

Well, Lincoln Riley didn't lie - he didn't take the LSU HC job. On to USC where I hope he can revitalize the program and make it truly relevant again. The Pac 12 needs some relevance, and the 'wanna be' Ducks just ain't cuttin' it.

I just read rumor has it Luke Fickell possibly to Oklahoma...or possibly Kliff Kingsbury, HC of the Cardinals.

I do agree that Florida made a good hire in Napier.. But Lincoln Riley knew he'd never be successful in the SEC, so he left OU, and rejected the LSU job to get out of the SEC. He took the easy way out..nothing more. He should rule the WEAK pac12 since there's no competition except an overrated Oregon team every year. Riley was 0-3 at OU in playoff games, he'll be very lucky to even make 3 playoffs at USC before he's gone again..

Napier should be a good fit for Florida. I had a hunch he would land there. Napier's name gets thrown around on each college hire it seems. He is a middle hire. Florida will be after him to turn things around. He may. His reruiting skills fare exceed the "late" Mullen. UGA will have to step it up in Florida now. No problem for "Mr. Recruiter" Kirby Smart.

Wouldn’t shock me if LSU try’s to buy out Lane Kiffins contract and give him a hefty raise. Ole Miss may want to anti up to keep Lane there.

I think Riley has made it clear, he wants no part of the SEC. he’ll be the big fish with USC and probably win the recruiting battles in that conference. I’m not convinced he is good enough to lift USC back to a National power. I mean, he did good at OU with The players Bob Stoops brought in and developed but has started fading the last couple years. Florida made a pretty good hire in my opinion but only time will tell how good.

This Might prove to be an upgrade for the mud lizards. But it won’t be Enough to over power the new about to be coronated this coming Sat., King of the SEC, Kirby Smart !! Go Dawgs !!

The good news is that this hire will NOT affect UGA in any way. Well, we may have to play 4 quarters against them vs two and a half. But, that's true for everyone now.

Lol let's talk about next year. Saban retires, Dabo goes to Bama and Napier goes back to Clemson as HC with a hearty THANK YOU to west Gainesville for giving him the opportunity! /s

A pretty good hire, we'll see how he does on the field and on the trail. If he goes 8-4 the next three years he'll be out of a job.

Can't believe LSU hired a 60 year old HC. I can believe Kelly took the job, as ND was only paying him $1.665 Million this year. LSU will pay him 9 or $10 Million a year.
