ATHENS — Georgia coach Kirby Smart is among 14 finalists for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award, and the Bulldogs placed five players on the All-SEC Coaches’ First-Team.

I suspect that several of our players and coaches missed out on awards due to the poor performance Saturday. That's ok, cause we have a chance to make it work out with a run through the playoffs! Excited to see Bama come in over confident when we play them for the Natty. We will surprise them just as we did Auburn in 2017!
Congratulations to all these DGDs for their fine performances this year! Well-deserved!

Congrats, but it would be far more telling to have a first team receiver selected. When a TE is your leading offensive player, it normally says something about your offensive scheme. Even last year, when Florida had Pitts, they also had a first round pick in Toney.
Congratulations to all the DGDs who won hard earned recognition for a great job. BTW Coach Smart, there's no longer any need for you to prop up Stetson anymore, the Burlsworth Award went to Grant Morgan at Arkansas.
Good on ya UGA award winners and finalists. Pleasing to see some D boys get credit. Kudos!
