The bookies want equal betting on both teams, yet they have the Dawgs favored by 2 1/2?

If I'm a Bama fan, I say thanks for the gift and take the points - make that bet. If I'm a UGA fan, or a fan of any other team, I say, no way I'm giving points to Bama. What am I missing?

MG, FYI….the championship game starts at 8pm not 10pm as you stated in your article. Just don’t want our fans missing the first half. Go Dawgs!!!

NOTE: Thanks for correcting the mistake after my post.

After the beat down Alabama gave our team in the SECCG, I don’t think being favored by Vegas provides much rat poison. 🤣

Just shows these bookies know absolutely nothing about college football. Or the hate Georgia for some reason.

Really it is pretty easy to make UGA the favorite. If you watched both games, Georgia was by far the most complete and dominant team. Bama could be down 5 starters from the previous game. I have UGA winning by 4.

Sorry, but it's crazy that we are favored. Sure, Bama and Young didn't have their best game against Cincy, but they still won by 3 touchdowns. The Tide has owned the Dawgs and Kirby since the 1800s. Until we prove we can beat Bama I certainly wouldn't be betting against them in this game.

I don’t like at all that our Dawgs are favored. All that does is push the Bama players to play all the harder. Pretty much Nothing can be taken from Bama’s game vs Cincy. They didn’t Need to throw the ball much.

I was hoping our Dawgs would go into the game vs Michigan angry, bitter, with a big Boulder on their shoulder. Anxious to prove themselves. It showed by the expressions on their faces from the start all the way till the last moments of the game. THAT is exactly what I Hope for in this rematch with Bama. Our Dawgs are as a Team every bit as good even better in some areas. They need to come in Believing and Hungering for Revenge !! Let the Big Dawgs EAT !! Go Dawgs !!

I believe the TIde will turn next meeting. Pun intended, Cincy was no test for Bama. UGA will be this time. I see a changed attitude of team and staff..yes, Lanning included. They are getting serious...real serious. Look at the performance marks from AJC writers....mostly all A's. That was not emotion, that was pure performance.-based. Anyone who follows the Dawgs could see the difference in game attitude....well-oiled thrashing machine....flair, aggressive, dominating...communicating! All bought in! Bama has not yet seen this Dawg profile. They will Jan 10...believe me. They will. GO DAWGS!!!

Absolutely ridiculous that UGA is favored after the SECCG. Pretty tempting to take Bama and points. Saban already harping on it and trying to serve up a 5 course meal of rat poison.

Best part of rematch is that I do not have to hear Gary Danielson.

Pretty sure we will not be the favorite after the betting world jumps all over Alabama +2. The line will end up with Alabama being favored. And that’s a good thing for the Dawgs.

agree 100%. Sure, Saban will use it, but he better hurry. The line will shift when the money comes in on Bama at +2.

    It’s the natty!

    nuff said on motivation.

Though I think it’d be cool for Kirby to give a pregame speech like the Florida game.
