I think a big key has been Kirby's growth as a coach. Early in Athens, it was frustrating to see him suffocate his very capable coaches, as well as lose his composure on the sidelines while the game pressed on. Over these several years, he has learned to empower the likes of Lanning and Monken, even when they dial up aggressive game plans (which you can do when you have players talented enough to execute them most of the time, and cover up the occasional mistakes when they don't). Go Dawgs!

Fantastic well-deserved gift for all the seniors. Defense played lights out and covered for the inept offense most of the night. Just SO SWEEET!!!

These seniors have made their mark as STUDENT athletes. Too often, I cringe when I hear college players being interviewed. They sound more like fast food workers than college students.

All these Dawgs, Davis, Kendrick, Cine, Salyer, Bennett, et al, express themselves clearly to the point they could all become broadcasters after their playing days.

So many reasons to be proud of these Dawgs!

I think the dawgs will be back for more next year - just think how this is going to impact recruiting! We already recruit great, but now Saban and others can't recruit against us saying we haven't won a natty lately. This thing is gonna explode!

Yep, I will definitely agree with this article. The experienced guys are what gave us the win. Not a superstar QB or a superstar WR or even a superstar RB, those guys on the Line and making plays happen.
