ATHENS —The Georgia football parade stretched from Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall to Sanford Stadium early Saturday afternoon, Lumpkin Street lined with fans as the national championship Bulldogs passed by atop bales of hay on makeshift floats.

If this celebration doesn't bring tears of joy to your eyes.. Nothing will. It's been a long time coming. I've been fortunate, and blessed to witness the NC in 1980 as a teenager, this one in 2021, and hopefully at least 1 more before I'm gone..GoDAWGS #1!! Watching it on tv due to health issues, instead of being part of the crowd. The stadium is almost full of rabid DAWG fans, and will be full shortly. What a show of support, and appreciation for Kirby, the coaches, players, Administration, and everyone involved in making this happen. Best fan base in the country!! Again..GoDAWGS!!
I did notice that one of the podium speakers specifically mentioned that Stetson is returning for another year?
