No surprise at all.
I guess we can chalk this up as another losing season. It is starting to get depressing.
Just unable to find the right combination....
Coaches or players?
3 of #1 Auburn's starting five are from GA. Fastest path to competing at an elite level is being able to recruit the ample basketball talent in GA. Until UGA commits to finding a coach that can recruit elite GA basketball talent this is what UGA will be. No knock on Crean but we saw what happened to Mullen at FU because he couldn't recruit FL. Fighting a losing battle if you are letting the best players in the state play outside the state.
Is it softball season yet ?
No, but it's almost Groundhog Day, same old, same old...
Find the right coach and we will get the right players. If UGA wants to compete in Bball, like football, going to have to spend the money.
If we look at UGA's basketball facilities, staffing, salary levels, etc., does it look like the university wants to compete at the highest level in basketball?
