McClendon is a very good hire. He may grab Inniss.

Coach Smart hit a home run with this hire. Innis or not, I can see great things coming for our WR room both in recruitment and development.

Loved Coach McClendon as a player and a coach here before.

    Just wow!

    Go Dawgs!

No doubt McClendon is a great hire both as a coach and a recruiter. I'd love to see him influence Inniss enough to move the Dawgs up in his decision tree.

I will say that Inniss and any other potential WR targets in the future will be looking to see what QB starts for the Dawgs in '22 and how much our passing game progresses and TRULY improves. We still have not seen a full blown Monken passing attack offense due to restrictions at QB. Most of these elite WRs want to go where there is a potent passing attack like we have seen at LSU with Burrow, Lawrence at Clemson, Stroud at OSU, or multiple years of elite passing QBs at Bama.

If we field the right QB and improve our passing attack we'll definitely have a better shot at getting more top WRs on the field for the Dawgs.

McClendon was Co-Offensive Coordinator and WR coach for Miami (just hired 4 weeks ago). Why does he leave to take just a WR coaching job? I assume it is to be reunited with his Alma Mater. I wonder if this is an indication that Monken is leaving after this year (making room for McClendon to be the new Offensive Coordinator).
