With the Dawgs losing the most talent of any team in CFB, I think expecting a NC is a bridge too far.

Successful season in my mind is 11-1 regular season and a SECCG appearance, with at least being in the playoff discussion. Georgia will have more talent than any team (except for maybe Oregon) on the schedule. If they play Bama, we should expect Bama to have more talent, just like Georgia had more talent this year.

Ok year: 10-2 regular season, with a New Years-6 Bowl win. Minimum is winning the East...

Mike Griffith, CKS is not Ogeron or Meyer. He is recruiting high character players and is on top of his program. New leaders need to emerge among the players. CKS says "We have some holes". Translation: When the TP get flooded with players following spring training, UGA will cherry pick a couple of starting level players to plug and play just like AL does. CKS is entrenched at UGA. He is from GA, he went to UGA, his wife went to UGA, he wants a stable , non-gypsy home life for his children. CKS is out of the mold of Saban and is at UGA for the duration.

Smarts goal is always a Natty. He may not achieve that goal but that is his goal. Others may not have that goal...I understand that.....but Kirby...he wants another Natty. His goal is the same every year....just like Saban's. They have built programs to reach their goal. They are the top programs. They play to win.....always to win. And 2021 bears this out for UGA. It took some doing but the goal was attained. And, will be again.
