Georgia basketball will return to its home court to face Ole Miss at 1 p.m. on Saturday down an assistant coach.

Maybe Crean should be suspended.
The unanswered question is why did so many players transfer from Georgia after last season? These weren't players looking for more playing time. Two were starters.
If basketball recruiting is anything like football where tens of millions of dollars to build football palaces is required just to get a blue chipper’s attention, it’s no wonder the Dawgs can only sign players that weren’t even the best on their high school basketball teams.
For decades, all basketball has gotten is a few million dollars occasionally to “upgrade” the Stegosaurus which really amounts to another coat of lipstick on a pig.
If Kirby put the word out that he wants the basketball program to be championship quality, checkbooks would fly open and money would begin flowing like a raging river into the program. But first, we need to keep the main thing, the main thing. Get something done about the concourses and restrooms at Sanford.
