Georgia hired Fran Brown to be its new defensive backs coach.

As Mike mentioned, recruiting up north is one reason for the hire. Coach Smart is all about recruiting...as he should be. Brown is also a proven DB coach.

It's meat and potatoes, not for everybody. Looking at Bama's coaching turnover since 2007, we've got a long, long way to go to surpass those numbers. It appears that stability in the HC position is more important. GO YOU KIRBY SMART!
If I was Fran Brown, I'd be salivating to inherit this DB room. Go Dawgs!
