Matt McMahon should be at the top of the list followed by Grant McCasland.

Would love to see Jonas get a shot, he's got some skin in the game. If he's as relatable and can keep the home grown talent in state, why not, he can't do any worse. Give him a mall contract with large incentives and turn him loose. GATA !!!

Lordy, UGA fans are the smartest in the world (OK, I'm tweaking everybody). Oooh, oooh, Jonas Hayes, because he played at UGA. OK fine.

Coach "K" played at ARMY for goodness sake.

Maybe find the best basketball coach who's now a HEAD coach at a school. Good example (just lost in the ACC tourney), the first-year coach at Boston College. This dude is jam up, exceptional. Would he leave the ACC? No clue. Just saying, try to be smart with this hire.

Which I believe Josh Brooks will be. He is, IMO, the best thing to come along for UGA athletics in a long time.

Hell, hire the womens BB coach, they do good every year!

Please don’t go back to anything remotely connected to anything basketball related from UGA’s past. Unless there is a Tubby Smith reincarnation out there.

No offense to Hayes, but this job is going to be a COMPLETE REBUILD FROM NOTHING. You need a PROVEN WINNER AS A HEAD COACH to do this. Hire Hayes as an asst. and anoint him as the head recruiter. The AD needs to take a big swing here, and if it doesn't work out, then you're no worse off than we are today. The program right now is at ROCK BOTTOM.
