Wouldn't it be great if this upcoming season's Georgia defense gives last season's historically great defense a run for their money? It's possible. There are some great remaining players and exciting players still coming in. This is an exciting time to be a Georgia football fan! GO DAWGS!

By season's end, that may be a real possibility. If Bennett can take another step forward in his development this year like he did in 2021, or even if he stays about the same while developing a little more chemistry with Monken and his teammates, the offense will be a real strength. The way our schedule sets up, that should be good enough to keep a goose egg in the L column while the defense finds its legs. By the time the end of the season is nearing, this team might be even better than last year's.

I know, I know. Getting way out on a limb for March. But I honestly don't think it's out of the question. If we can make it to the conference title game 12-0 - a real possibility even if we're not absolutely destroying everyone like last year - everything will be on the table.

And the best part is, this isn't even supposed to be our year. This upcoming season has a real "house money" feel about it.

I wish we recruited five star offensive players at the same rate we do defensive five stars. We would, indeed, be on the level of Bama, and Bama alone, for only they do as I wish UGA did. We need to change how five star high school players perceive UGA offensively (especially wide receivers) so we can compete with the likes of Bama and Ohio State (who doesn't recruit as well defensively) when it comes to five star players on the offensive side of the ball. GO DAWGS!
