AMurray's view of the O is optimisticly dependent on SBIV playing much better than last year. By that I mean improving his accuracy, his understanding of the O and 2nd and 3rd reads and being able to throw to the whole field including the middle of the field. SBIV has mastered the 9 route and the dump off routes but the rest of the field is vastly underutilized. BA taking a victory lap on BBowers at wr is a bit premature. In his podcast initially he promoted Bowers as a full time WR. He could probably do it. But then he is taking game reps away from the other 6 wr's while leaving the TE position thin. Now the assumption WAS that AGilbert was going to focus at WR. That's what he came to UGA to play and that's what he WANTED to play. The word wasn't out yet that his weight had ballooned up to 255. Gilbert is a work in progress all summer as he learns the O, better defines his role and gets in game condition. Can't imagine that BBowers results could be better than what was achieved last year with how he was used.
