Former Alabama star talks smack about UGA
Some Alabama fans – and former players – are still in denial about UGA’s win over the Crimson Tide for the national championship.

Nothing worse than a sore loser.
Bama who?
Coulda, shoulda, woulda.
Roll tears roll.
Time will tell all. Go Dawgs!
That is an hysterically funny post! Well done!
Go Dawgs! National Champions 1942, 1980, 2021
and soon to have more!!
BUCK FAMA! 😂
GO DAWGS!
Another rivalry to add to the list....
Ya gotta love being #1. The losers start talking smack about the team that punished them in the play-off game. If you think the past few months have been bad for the Tide then just wait until next year when they don’t even win the West thanks to the Aggies. Go Dawgs!!!
“And the only reason they have a national championship is purely because their head coach came from Bama. So really (Georgia) should be thanking Bama.”
And Bama fans should be thanking Kent State??…..
They got it back-asswards...we loaned Smart to them. We got him and Muschamp back, now. So, they can hang up their defensive crown. UGA owns em now.
Can you imagine the teams UGA would have had under Mark Richt, if they had been able to hire Kirby on the DC search that ended with Todd Grantham? Saban gave him a hefty pay raise to keep him, cause he knew if Kirby and Richt joined forces, his run would come to an abrupt END. LOLOLOL
Not to take Ingraham's side or anything, but we have demonstrated a history of literally going decades between national championships, so we as a program definitely have room for improvement as far as being consistently elite. It's quite unlikely we'll ever surpass Alabama in titles won, so tip of the hat to them, but we're poised to make them squirm over the next decade + if we can unlock the secret sauce of natty contender consistency. Guys like Ingraham are just jealous that in the most recent season we weren't just equals, we beat 'em, enough that Coach Saban himself said we kicked their @$$es in the fourth quarter!
Nick Saban didn’t coach and develop all those Dawg’s that are about to light-up the NFL draft boards; Kirby Smart and his staff did that!
One thing's for sure, Kirby's not coaching the Alabama defense any longer, and it shows...
Whether anyone will ever acknowledge it or not...I don't know and don't care, but, in my mind there are 2 eras of College Football. The pre-CFP ERA and the CFP ERA.
In the pre-BCS/BCS ERA, there was a lot of favoritism and bias in the National media as well as, referees. There was a certain group of teams that got the nod when doubt existed, simply because of tradition and TV revenue. UGA wasn't one of them...BAMA was. That accounted for a number of BAMA's championships. UGA was denied a couple because of this bias. 2007 comes to mind, off-hand. Unexplainable calls by officials in critical moments account for a couple of others. I've actually heard announcers discuss who should be in certain Bowl games because of the way a particular fanbase travels. Not all, but, some
But, it is what it is. Now we have a playoff. It's a new day. Let's see who owns this ERA. LOL
