    I think Robert Beal, if he gets the playing time, might put himself in the consideration for a 2nd or 3rd round pick. If he does, think about his story. He's been around, wanted to transfer, stayed, grinding, grinding, learning, developing, and then, when his moment hits, he is ready to capitalize. I hope it works that way for him.     Clearly there's some brains in Nolan Smith's family. Coach Saban constantly stresses to his players the importance of getting that degree-even the best players are just one bad injury away from needing a backup plan to the NFL.
