    I was glad to see the Falcons finally come to their senses and draft Justin and Fitz. At first I thought they were doing Kirby a solid to take them, but on further review, I think both players have a great shot to make the team.

    I thought Dimitroff was still making their picks choosing players from Montana State and Western KY. When will they learn to only draft SEC and Big 10 players? Those small school players look good against small school opponents, but aren’t ready for the size and speed of the NFL like SEC players are.

    I remember waking up the morning after the 1983 Sugar Bowl, in a bleak mood. I remember thinking it just might be better if the Dawgs weren't so near the top. Losses might not be as bad. A few years later, the 1990s happened.

    We do need to take a moment to enjoy how far the Dawgs have come.
