Georgia baseball exploded for eight runs in the seventh inning to even a crucial SEC East series against Vanderbilt, 13-7.

#1 obstacle solved... UGA contained the hot bat of Vandy's Bradfield. Jr. UGA's Cannon saved the day with his rifle arm. Batters Tate and Gonzales were scorching hot and vaulted UGA over Vandy in the 7th and on...putting the game out of reach. That's what I'm talkin' about. About time. Now...let's keep up the momentum...win this series tomorrow. Liam Sullivan can do it on the mound. Coach Strickland has to keep the boys fired up!
Agreed that yesterday's game felt like a must-win for the Dawgs after letting last weekend's LSU series slip away in game 3. Wondering if sitting Collins for a game might give him a mental break from his deepening slump. He looks completely lost at the plate right now. We've got to get his bat going if we have any realistic chance of making a deep run. Jack, would love to see you do an article on where our bullpen stands. Other than Gowen, everyone coming in behind our starters feels like a crap shoot right now.
