I hope Josh Brooks injects some life into a 'one and done" postseason program, by hiring a new Head Coach.

I agree. I think it’s time for new leadership for Georgia baseball.

It's the same old argument: with the talent this state has, there is no reason why we can't field great baseball and basketball teams. There's only one problem: unlike football, we can't convince the baseball and basketball players to stay instate. Great coaches would solve that problem, so go out and hire some!!!!

Been saying this all along...new leadership...present coach just cannot get it done. If you want same results keep using same coaching. UGA should be able to recruit better as well. I knew they would not advance. It is that old IF line. See ya next season guys. Still rooting for you Dawgs with bats.

Can't say we didn't see this coming, the program has been in shambles for a while. All the time UTK has built a power house and is planning, in their words to renovate their stadium into the rowdiest and best home field advantage in the SEC East. They are asking their fans what they would like see to make their venue the best, budget in the 60 mil range.https://www.knoxnews.com/story/sports/college/university-of-tennessee/other-sports/2022/06/03/tennessee-baseball-lindsey-nelson-stadium-renovation-concepts/7503604001/ Mean time, UGA is planning to put a band aid on their programhttps://www.dawgnation.com/baseball/georgia-baseball-uga-scott-stricklin-josh-brooks-mike-griffith/ZH6TXJBZRZFIDIKEIFLZKU2374/#:~:text=The%20Vols%20have%20a%20facilities,services%2C%20per%20KnoxNews.com., totally unacceptable. Will be interesting to see how Josh Brooks handles this...

It wasn't cruel. Striklin down 1-0 brought in a new pitcher when the previous one was holding his own. LEAVE HIM IN!, The next guy got abused. There's your difference. Stricklin needs to trust his players. Pulled the plug too early and they had the worst possible outcome.. Doesn't matter, because even if they won, they aren't built to last.

NOt enough good pitching.. simple as that..

And their "Coach" is definitely suspect. I saw him challenge a play earlier in the year, that had everyone, including the announcers, scratching their head. He challenged a run crossing the plate, instead of the throw at 1st, which would have been the 3rd out...making the run at the plate irrelevant. It was obvious that the guy at first was out after slo-mo review and the announcers in the booth couldn't explain the Coach's challenge. Not very smart.

This is what the UGA website says: "Coach Scott Stricklin has returned the Bulldogs to one of the top programs in the country". WOW!! And his contract was extended last year thru 2026. Buy him out and move on!!

I'm interested to see a review of what next season's roster looks like. UGA is graduating or sending the core of this team into the MLB draft. Both Tate's, Cory Acton, Ben Anderson, Johnathan Cannon, Chaney Rogers, Jack Gowen, Josh McAllister. Also, Collins is a complete rehab project. His great start start in 2022 turned into countless K's and ground ball outs. I hope Coach Strickland and his assistants have been out cruitin.

    Go Dawgs!

I am a Class of '73 graduate...I have written this same statement every year Stricklin has been here whether it be SEC tourney, NCAA, whatever...and here in 2022 I find myself writing it yet one more time and here it is: Worst Post-Season Coach in America
